Rock & Purl is a website, blog and online shop that explores the world of knitting/crocheting and sells original patterns by Ruth Garcia-Alcantud.
About the shop:
- The items in the shop are PDF DOWNLOADS ONLY. Each item may be a pattern or an ebook, but they are NOT physical products. It is your responsibility to check your email for the link to your product after you send payment. Please note that the links DO expire. You must download your PDF upon receipt.
- All sales are final.
- If you have a problem with a pattern please email me at blog (at) rockandpurl (dot) com. Please remember that we’re both human and therefore prone to human error. My goal is for you to fall in love with your pattern and enjoy great success bringing it to fruition. This may require a discussion between us both. I love helping people to make difficult knitting stuff with my patterns, and I would not want you to have a bad experience.
- That being said, as a human, I CAN make mistakes. Most of them involve maths, knitting and too much coffee. If there’s an error I apologize, and will work hard at fixing it, usually with you. But again, I don’t refund money for an error.
- However, look on the bright side – I offer pattern help FREE of charge.
The reasons I mention all of these points are quite easy. This is my livelihood, and while I want to satisfy customers, creating a pattern is not easy, especially if we are in the territory of lace, cables, patterns, texture, multiple sizing and symmetry – there may be errors or it may be difficult to follow, but I work hard at this and earn my living with it.
Some may find this a bit distressing, I am frank and honest, but I don’t gloss over stuff, and I hope that is one quality you appreciate in people.
